What we read, and what the score means.
The check combines a technical crawl, a search reading and a live AI prompt. Here is each part, so the number is never a black box.

Technical readiness
We read your homepage, llms.txt, robots.txt and sitemap, detect Schema.org and FAQPage markup, and look for a visible FAQ on the page. These signals decide whether AI crawlers can read and trust your pages.

Search presence
We check whether your brand surfaces for category queries in your market. AI answers often lean on the same sources that rank, so search presence still counts.

AI mention
We run a buyer-style prompt through an AI model and read whether your brand is named, recommended, or left out, plus which domains it cites instead.

The GEO Score
The three parts combine into one score out of 100, and into a readiness estimate per engine. We weight the signals differently per engine, so the same brand can score high on one and low on another.

Which AI engines do you check?
We estimate readiness for nine: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Overview, Copilot, Grok, Mistral and Meta AI. The estimates are derived from your technical signals, your search presence and one live AI answer, weighted for how each engine sources its answers.
Why do you ask for my email?
The checker is email-gated. We send the report to that address and use it to follow up. It is how a free tool stays a real lead channel rather than an anonymous toy.
Why one report per domain per day?
Each run makes a set of live, paid API calls. A daily cap per domain keeps the tool free and fast for everyone and deters scripted abuse.
Is the score a guarantee I will be cited?
No. It is a point-in-time reading of AI answers. AI engines are non-deterministic, so results move between runs. The score tells you where you stand today and what to fix, not what will happen.
What does the full report add?
Your AI Share of Voice against named competitors, the complete prompt set per engine, and a prioritized plan. Then Surface Agent does the work: it drafts the content and the Reddit replies, you review and approve, and you post the Reddit replies from your own account.
